MTAi

Interoperability is a claim. Conformance is evidence.

What it is

MTAi (Modular Test Architecture intelligence) is a test orchestrator that executes Modular Test Components (MTCs). MTCs evaluate alignment with MOSA interface standards — testing conformance, security, stability, and resilience of components and systems.

The gap it fills

A component claiming MOSA compliance is worth nothing without evidence. Reuse — the third pillar of the MOSA vision — depends on trust, and trust must be earned through measurement. MTAi produces auditable evidence that a component's promise of interoperability is a fact.

Key capabilities

  • Test orchestration across Modular Test Components
  • Standards conformance evaluation
  • Security posture assessment
  • Stability and resilience testing
  • Auditable results for programs, proposals, and briefings

Standards evaluated

  • SOSASensor Open Systems Architecture
  • CHILCommon Hardware Integration Layer (network management)
  • CMOSSC5ISR/EW Modular Open Suite of Standards
  • MORAModular Open RF Architecture
  • VICTORYVehicular Integration for C4ISR/EW Interoperability
  • AMS-GRAAirborne Mission Systems Ground Reference Architecture
  • Additional MOSA-related standards as MTCs are developed

The value of modularity depends entirely on whether components actually interoperate — and 'interoperable' written in a datasheet proves nothing. MTAi measures it. An orchestrator that executes Modular Test Components against SOSA, CHIL, CMOSS, MORA, VICTORY, AMS-GRA, and the full stack of MOSA-related standards — probing alignment, security posture, stability under stress, and resilience under failure. The result is not a scorecard. It is auditable evidence that a component can be trusted in a modular system. Reuse requires trust. MTAi builds it.
